Pastor John has been in the
ministry for 30 years and has been at FVUMC since 1988. He received
his D.Min. from Fuller
Graduate School
in 1999. He is married to Kathleen, and has five children: Teddy, Mikaela,
Kendall, Forrest and Chad.
He is committed to the authority of the Bible, the need for salvation in

Connection Pastor.
Dan is the Connection Pastor at Fountain
Valley Methodist Church, and an adjunct professor of biblical studies
at Biola University. He is also a published author of articles in Preaching Magazine, Clergy
Journal, and REV! Magazine. Dan is a board member of The
Urban Ministry Institute in Los
Angeles. Dan has been in ministry since 1996. He is a PhD student at Fuller Seminary. He
completed his ThM from Talbot School of Theology, MDiv at the Southern Baptist
Theological Seminary, and his MA at Indiana
Wesleyan University
in Ministerial Education. He received his B.A. in Classical Civilization from
UC Irvine in 1995. Dan and his wife,
Kristina, have been best friends since they were thirteen years old. His
hobbies include rock climbing, off-roading, hiking, skiing, and reading. Dan
and Kristina have five children (two adopted); Micah, Sonny, Natasha, Rebekah,
and Leah.

Coleen Kaae Preschool Director
Coleen Kaae is the Director at Fountain Valley United Methodist Preschool (FVUMP). She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 25 years and loves all aspects of preschool and feels she is truly blessed to serve as the FVUMP Director. She has a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State Long Beach, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (Preschool- 8th grade) and a Masters Degree in Cross Cultural Education. Coleen is currently part of the Orange County Department of Education’s “Orange County Preschool Planning Collaborative”. She is a member of many preschool related organizations and frequently attends conferences to remain current on the best teaching practices for young learners. Coleen and her husband live in Huntington Beach and have two teenage children.
